Customer Service Specialist
Leading promotional products company is in search of a well-organized and detail oriented customer service specialist to join our team. A successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with an excellent work ethic and above average communication skills - both verbal and written. Must have strong people skills, a basic math aptitude and strong computer skills.
- Handle inbound calls to assist customers with orders and resolve issues regarding the status of their current accounts
- Maintain quality service to all customers by answering product, pricing and service questions; cross-selling related products and services and being courteous and responsive to all customers' needs
- Use web-based software to quickly answer product related questions, enter orders and maintain records of client interaction
- Enter incoming orders into the company's computer system, recognizing problems, errors or omissions and following up with customer for clarification
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Handle and resolve customer complaints.
- Must be organized and detail oriented with strong mathematical and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task & manage multiple priorities in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook); ability to quickly learn and adapt to unfamiliar computer programs / systems
- Experience: 2 to 3 years customer service experience in a fast paced office environment
- Knowledge of promotional products industry would be a major plus
